Equipment for the three newspapers was either destroyed or inoperable and the three rival newspapers worked together and with the help of the Oakland Tribune printed a Call-Chronicle-Examiner edition describing the disaster of April 18, 1906. The paper was distributed free and there were no advertisements. |
